KCCA coach Mike Mutebi has admitted FUS Rabat were the better side and deserved all three points on Saturday.
The Moroccan side were the 3-0 winners over KCCA in the opening match of group A in the CAF Confederation Cup and Mutebi, whose side missed four key players for the game said the hosts were professional in approach and tactically smarter.
“We gave away three careless goals,” the KCCA manager said in a post-match presser. “But FUS were more organised, had a very professional approach and were tactically smart,” he added in admission.
And everything we did carelessly, they punished us. So the best team won.
With the domestic championship already won, Mutebi and charges now shift their focus to their next continental game against another Maghreb side, Club Africain of Tunisia which they host on Wednesday, May 24.
They will however take on Proline and Sadolin Paints in the last two matches of the Uganda Premier League.
