Ntinda United captain George Otim was the hero as his side overcame Mutungo in the Kampala Region playoff final to gain promotion to the FUFA Big League.

Otim scored in the 49th minute of the well cheered final played at the Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo in Kampala.

The early kick off duel between Luzira Soccer Academy and AK 47 ended in favour of the latter side, having triumphed on penalties after normal time had ended goalless.

AK 47 is now promoted to the Kampala Regional League for the 2017/18 season.
