5th Uganda International Woodball Open:

Malaysia has joined the other Asian contingent of Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Japan and Korea to have confirmed participation in the 5th Uganda International Woodball Open.

These eight countries will compete with the African legion of hosts Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Comoros, Rwanda, Burundi, Zimbabwe, Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria at the Uganda international.

Malaysia Woodball Association has confirmed to a send a 4-man team to compete at the tournament.

Team Malaysia will comprise of Elaine Tan, Teoh Swee Khim, Thomas Kok and Frankie Yeo.

Tan is the President of Malaysia Woodball Association and she will head the team to Uganda. This will be the first time for team Malaysia to compete on Ugandan fairways.

The event is jointly organised by Uganda Woodball Federation, National Council of Sports and Entebbe Municipal Council as it will be hosted at the tranquil Kisubi Beach, off the shores of Lake Victoria near Entebbe Municipality.

Uganda Woodball Federation Chief Executive Officer John Baptist Kateregga expects teams to confirm their respective entry forms by the deadline day of registration (31st May 2017).
