Kenya Sevens has called up winger Cyprian Kuto to fill up the 13th slot ahead of the final piece of action in this year’s HSBC World Sevens Series.

The last leg of the series will be played in London on Saturday May 20, 2017.

World Rugby provides that a team take an extra player who can step up anytime a team loses a player.

Kuto, who featured at the Dubai and Cape Town events, had already been listed for Paris 7s but did not travel.

Kuto is expected to play in London where Kenya is pooled in Group A with South Africa, USA and Wales.

Head Coach Innocent Simiyu’s charges may have dropped in the world rankings but the London event presents them a chance to leave the floor on a high.

The Kenya 7s gained only one point as they went out in the 13th place at the hands of Russia.

They now have 58 points and were leap-frogged by France to move to 11 while Samoa sit 13th with 48 points.
