The Tanzania National Rally Championship series returns to Dar es Saalam this weekend. It will be the third round of the championship.
The two day event will cover twelve stages with a total competitive distance of 108.37 kilometres.
Over fifteen crews are expected to fight for the top position in Mzizima Rally.
Here are some of the crews to look at.
Gerard Miller/Peter Fox-Mitsubishi Evo 9
Gerard Miller is on a song for a third consecutive win of the season. The 65-year-old has managed to edge his counterparts in the previous two events and his experience could yet again put him at the top of the competition this weekend.
Ahmed Huwel/Maisam Fazal-Ford Fiesta Proto
With the disappointments faced in Iringa last month, the Mkwawa Rally team crew is expected to reignite their charge in the Mzizima Rally. With a strong machine; the Ford Fiest proto, stable pace, the team could be comfortably in the mix.
Jamil Hamid Khan/Manmeet Singh-Mitsubishi Evo X
The reigning Tanzania Rally Champion will be searching for his first points of the season. With a DNF in the season opening event and his absence in Iringa, only a win can satisfy Khan’s ambitions.
Dharam Pandya/Awadh Bafadhil-Mitsubishi Evo 9
The former Tanzania rally champion has finished on the podium in the past two rallies Pandya’s wish this weekend should be improving on his previous positions.
Randeep Singh/Zubayr Piredina-Mitsubishi Evo 9
A second place finish in Iringa could have added some confidence in Randeep Singh’s drive. Randeep’s pace is undoubted and falls among the crews to beat this weekend.
Meanwhile, Harinder Singh, Sameer Nadhu, Davis Mosha and others are expected to create their own battles in Mzizima rally this weekend.
