- Vipers 2-0 The Saints

Vipers completed the 2016-17 season with a 2-0 home win over The Saints at St. Mary’s Kitende on Saturday.
On form striker Tony Odur and Aziz Kemba were the heroes for the hosts on the day as they ended the campaign 3rd on the log with 52 points.
The visiting side arrived less than 30 minutes to the kickoff time but held the two-time champions to a barren first half.
However, their resilience was broken three minutes after the break when Odur scored his 12th of the season and Kemba, who had come on for Mike Sserumaga doubled the lead with four minutes to the break.
Jorge Miguel Da Costa’s men also ensure they end the season with a decent home record since relocating to Kitende.
The Venoms haven’t lost a league game at the facility and have only lost two points, when they drew goalless with Sadolin Paints.
