14th CAF U-17 Championship:
Group B final match results (Sunday):
- Niger 1-0 Tanzania
- Mali 6-1 Angola

Mali and Niger have joined Ghana and Guinea at the semi-finals of the 2017 CAF U-17 championships going on in Gabon.
The development was confirmed and sealed on Sunday evening after the final group B matches.
Ibrahim Boubacar Maroun scored two minutes to the half time mark as Niger edged CECAFA region representatives 1-0 at the Port Gentil stadium.
Meanwhile, Mali humiliated Angola 6-1 to ensure their slots at the last four stage.
As early as the second minute, Mali was ahead courtesy of Seme Camara’s strike.
Hadji Drame got the second a minute to the quarter hour mark before Lassana N’diaye made it three 6 minutes to the mandatory half time whistle.
N’diaye scored his second on the 70th minute mark, the 4th for the team. Two minutes later, it was five courtesy of Drame.
Ibrahim Kane got the 6th and final nail to the coffin of the Angolans 9 minutes to full time.
The South African nation pulled a late consolation through Melono Muondo Dala with 7 minutes left on the clock but it was little too late.
Niger and Tanzania finished with four points apiece but the later progressed on head to head record.
On the other hand, Mali progressed as group leaders with 7 points following the earlier victory over Niger and the goal-less draw with Tanzania in the opening game.
The semi-finals will come on Wednesday.
Niger will play on form Ghana in the early fixture at Port Gentil and Mali shall take on Guinea in Libreville.
All the four semi-finalists will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India come August 2017.
