KCCA coach Mike Ray Mutebi has played down Club Africain threat saying they have nothing special.

Mutebi’s charges host the former African champions on Tuesday at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo in their second game of the Total 2017 CAF Confederation Cup group stages after losing 3-0 to Morocco’s FUS Rabat.

“There is nothing special about them (Club Africain),” Mutebi told a pre-match press briefing on Monday.

The usually confident tactician also revealed what he expects of the Tunisian side that won 3-1 against Rivers United in their first game.

Still same way the Arabs play, they want to dominate, have ball, and possess it well, and smart. Like Al Masry, Esperance, the approach is same.

Mutebi, who has presided over seven continental games so far, winning 2, losing 3 and drawing once admits they are facing a side they have a clue about.

We know a little bit about Club Africain. When we were Morocco, I happened to watch about six matches played in their league and also last season’s matches on the continent.

KCCA must earn at least a point against Club Africain to keep their dream of reaching quarter finals.
