Kampala Queens Women Football Club, which is owned by the FUFA President Moses Magogo shocked giants UCU Lady Cardinals 3-2 in Mukono during one of the FUFA Women Elite League games played.
UCU headed into the game already assured of a place in the playoffs for the second successive season while Kampala Queens were playing for pride to complete the season on a high.
Moureen Kinavudori scored twice for the host team. Zaina Namuleme got two goals for the visitors with the other coming from Damalie Matama.
In the other fixtures played over the weekend; Cissy Nakawala scored the game’s solitary goal as Mutesa Royal University edged Rines 1-0.
Gafford Ladies lost 1-0 to the Eastern Heroes.
Anna Koubusingye scored the winner for She Mak against Ajax Queens.
Defending champions Kawempe Muslim Secodndary School Women Footabll club tops Elizabeth group with 33 points. UCU Lady Cardinals are in 2nd place with 23 points.
In the Victoria group, Uganda Martyrs Lubaga are at the summit having collected 26 points while Olila Women FC are 4 points behind in 2nd position.
