The long silence has been broken!

The FUFA Competitions department headed by Ali Mwebe has officially communicated the dates and venue for the 2016/17 FUFA Women Elite League playoffs.

All the four matches (two semi-finals, one third place match and finals) shall take place at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo in Kampala.

The two semifinal playoffs will take place on Wednesday, 31st May 2017.

Uganda Martyr’s Lubaga will enter the frey first as they play host to the UCU Lady Cardinals in the early game at 1:30 p.m.

The mother of all battles will witness defending champions Kawempe Muslim play the season’s revelation Olila at 4 p.m.

Relatedly, the regular season comes to a climax this weekend with the final four games that have no impact on the top positions, but rather in the relegation battles.

Three games shall be played this Saturday, 27th May 2017 at different venues.

Hadijah ‘Lady Mouriho’ Namuyanja’s She Mak hosts Uganda Martyrs Lubaga at the Makerere play ground.

London Stallions takes on Western United at Kyambogo and Olila Women shall battle the Eastern Heroes.

Sunday will see the reigning champions Kawempe Muslim play Western United at their Kawempe fortress.
