After missing the first two editions of Fort Portal rally, Musa Kabega and Rogers Sirwomu are highly optimistic on their debut in the event.
The Mountain of the Moon rally revs off this Saturday with a super special at Boma grounds in Fort Portal town.
“We are excited to be part of Fort Portal rally for the first time. So far everything seems new to us especially the routes, but at the same time exciting,” says Sirwomu, Kabega’s co-driver.

The crew heads to Fort Portal after two successive DNFs from the previous NRC rounds.
However, they are looking to the weekend’s event to get some points on the board.
“Our main target is to finish. The car had issues but our mechanics got to the bottom of the problem, now I can say its set for the race,” Sirwomu added.
Kabega and Sirwomu are currently tenth on the NRC standings with 35 points after three rounds.
Meanwhile, over 40 crews will participate this weekend with Christakis Fitidis going car number one on the road.
