
UCA has summoned 36 girls most from the just concluded Girls Cricket Week tournament in preparation of the Kwibuka tournament in Rwanda.
As has been the norm, Uganda Cricket selects the best 16 players at the end of Girls Cricket Week who are given an opportunity to represent Uganda in the annual tournament.
This time as the national ladies team prepares for the T20 World Cup Qualifiers due in Namibia from September 9-16, some of the senior girls have been included to allow them get some game time.
The residential training will be done in Lugogo with the girls staying in the NCS Hostel from June 1-3 before the travels to Rwanda on June 5 with their first game being on June 8.
Masaka SS head coach Yusuf Nanga will be in charge of the girls for this trip.
