For the second successive away game, Tunisia’s Club Africain threw away a goal lead to lose 2-1 to Morocco’s FUS Rabat in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Tunisians took the lead with ironically, a 19th minute goal from Algerian international Ibrahim Chenihi but the hosts rallied in the second half through a penalty by Fouzair and a late goal from Skouma to grab all three points.

Fouzair levelled for the 2010 CAF Confederation Cup winners eight minutes after the break and in the last minute of the additional three, Skouma nicked the winner to send the Moroccans on 6 points and open up a three point gap at the summit.

Club Africain will be eager to put their campaign back on track when they host the Moroccan side on June 21.

Elsewhere in Group A, Uganda’s KCCA host Rivers United at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo with either seeking to breakaway and join FUS at the summit.

The two sides, like Club Africain are on three points although they have played one game less.
