Victor Wanyama says Kenya Harambee Stars have the ability to pick a positive result away against Sierra Leone.

Kenya open their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers campaign against Sierra Leone on Saturday in Free Town in group F and a day later, Ethiopia visit Ghana in the same group.

Tottenham Hotspurs midfield engine believes they can maintain their recent good run as he and teammates target a decent start to the campaign.

”It’s true we’ve had a good run as the national team and hopefully, we can take it from there as we play our first qualifiers match,” he told Soka.ke. “It is going to be tough away but we are ready for a good outing on Saturday,” added Wanyama.

“We really have a good team and most of the new players are always learning and taking in instructions. This makes us a strong team and with the morale high, anything can happen even with Ghana in the pool. We hope for the best.
