Colorado Rapids claimed a 3-2 win over Oklahoma City Energy on Wednesday without Uganda Cranes midfielder Micheal Azira in the US Open Cup.

The Energy took a 2-0 lead after 45 minutes, but the Rapids rallied in the second half to win 3-2 and advance in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

Daniel Gonzalez scored in the 38th minute to give Oklahoma City its first goal of the night.

Philip Rasmussen put the second goal through, however, in first half stoppage time to give OKC its two-goal lead heading into the locker room.

Dominique Badji scored in the 50th minute to give the MLS club life before finding the equalizer in the 66th minute with an Eric Miller goal off a set piece.

Dennis Castillo scored the game winner off a corner in the 89th minute. Colorado resumes MLS action Saturday with a home game against Portland.
