Midfielder Robert Achema has agreed personal terms with Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Western Stima Football Club.

The 24-year-old, who has been at Jinja based Uganda Premier Legaue side Bul F.C is reported to have traveled at the apex of last week to the Kakamega based club which hosts their home games in Kisumu.

Formerly at Sports Club Villa, the midfielder crossed to BUL before he was loaned to another club, Sadolin Paints for six months.

Upon impressing towards during the first half of the previous season, he was lured back to BUL and was instrumental in the club’s survival against relegation.

A graduate of the national U-20 and U-23 sides, Achema who found his footing at Paul Nkata’s run ELS academy in Entebbe is known for his creative instincts.

Only the International Transfer Certificate (ITC) stands in his way to join the club where other Ugandans, Joseph Junior Mukisa and winger Joseph Kabagambe are part.

“This is a complete new beginning. I plan to play well and help the team perform well,” Achema has vowed.

Western Stima also captured Vincent Omumbo on a six-month loan deal from Tusker FC.
