Claire Lamunu put up incredible numbers in her senior year at Vanguard University in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

The Ugandan power forward averaged a double-double although her incredible performance throughout the season could not culminate into a national championship.

After her college basketball tenure Lamunu has been signed by Portuguese top league (Liga Feminina) side Boa Viagem-Angra-Acore.

Season 2017/2018
It is with great pleasure that we announce the hiring of Ugandan athlete of 23 years and 1,85 feet tall, Claire Lamunu (EX. Vanguard University).
Last season got 22 points, 12,8 rebounds and 1,6 launch disarming. The International Athlete for Uganda, was still considered the MVP of the championship of the NAIA.

Lamunu helped Vanguard make it to the NAIA Division I Final Four.
The former KCCA Leopards star had a very spectacular season as she was selected WBCA NAIA Player of the Year, WBCA All-NAIA Player of the Year and voted to NAIA Division I All-Championship 1st Team.
