Soana Football Club has completed the signing of fast winger Muwadda Mawejje.
Mawejje put pen to paper for a two-year deal on Friday at the offices of Soana director, Smart Obedi.
The 24-year-old winger, formerly at Sports Club Victoria University is thus Alex Isabirye’s first signing of the season yet to come.
“Muwadda Mawejje is a special player full of trickery and pace. We hope he will be a special player for our club,” Obedi told Kawowo Sports.
He is expected to beef up the right side of the club that has former KCCA winger Siraje Turyamureba.
Soana is believed to have parted ways with Patrick ‘Crespo’ Asiku with the other players released yet to be revealed.
The club coach has reportedly identified some players yet to be signed like Nsaagu’s Sande Yiga who impressed during their Buganda regional final against Kyetume.
