Combative midfielder Musa Mudde has ‘dumped’ coastal club, Bandari for a return to Nairobi based AFC Leopards, the Ingwe have confirmed.

A club statement released noted;

It is official, the club wishes to announce acquisition of midfielder Mussa Mudde from Bandari FC.

We welcome him back to The Den and look forward to a great season with him

Mudde, who formerly served passionately in the Uganda Cranes midfield department with his box to box mentality makes a U-turn to Leopards, a club in left after the 2014/15 season.

His reunion with the 12 time league champions confirms the enormous value the hard working player has for the club at a time they fell 3-0 to rivals Gor Mahia in the Super Cup.

At Bandari, a club bank rolled by the Kenya Ports Authority, he leaves two other Ugandans.

Diminutive forward Daniel ‘Muzeei’ Sserunkuma and coach Paul ‘latest’ Nkata are still with Bandari at the humid and hot coastal city of Mombasa.

Meanwhile, there are repeated press reports that AFC Leopards captain Bernard Mang’oli is set for a switch to Sofapaka.

AFC Leopards take on Mathare United this weekend in a Kenya Premier League duel.
