Rwanda National Volleyball team coach Paul Bitok has named an 18-man squad to start preparations for the forthcoming Zone 5 World Championships qualifiers.

The event is slated for July 6-13 at Amahoro Indoor Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda.

Egypt won the last event held in Rwanda with the home side finishing second in 2015.

Uganda is one of the countries expected to take part alongside Egypt, Kenya, Burundi, Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan and Tanzania.
