
Former Uganda Cranes captain Geoffrey Massa is braced for a return to Cyprus.
Massa is expected to finalize talks with Northern Cyprus premier club, Yenicami Ağdelen Spor Kulübü.
The club president, Hasan Tosunoglu confirmed the positive development to Yenibakisgazetes news agency.
Massa would be coming to the island in 2-3 days and he is more than welcome to the Yenicami family.
This will be the second home coming for Massa at a club he passionately served during the 2011-2013 time lag, scoring an amazing 49 goals in 41 appearances.
Massa, who retired from the national team in March 2017, has been a free agent since he was released on mutual consent by South African side Baroka in January this year.
Tosunoglu also noted that they had already agreed with Massa alongside Hussein Sadıklar’ın and other footballers, apart from Taner Bingöl.

The club president is excited re-uniting with Massa after three seasons.
“Massa is welcome to the family of Yenicami. The fans and fellow players will be happy to have him back. Hope everything goes as planned,” Tosunoglu added.
Massa started his career at Mbale Heroes, Nile Academy in Jinja before crossing over to Police.
His professional journey has seen him play in Egypt (with Al Masry, El Shams and Itesalat), Cyprus (Yenicami Agdelen) and in South Africa with Jomo Cosmos, University of Pretoria, Bloemfontein Celtic and recently Baroka.
He scored 22 international goals in 69 matches with the Uganda Cranes since 2005.
