Midfielders Isaac Kirabira and Ivan Ntege won’t stay at Lugogo beyond the current campaign.
The two anchormen have played a pivotal role in the club’s success this campaign but are not in Mike Mutebi’s plans after the acquisition of Ibrahim Saddam Juma and Abdallah Muhammad plus the return of Lawrence Kasadha.
The duo were preferred at the start of the season either as a combination or one at a time but have been sparingly used towards the business end of the season with Mutebi publicly stating they are not his kind of players.
“When we signed Kirabira, we were sending signal to Ntege on how we want to play,” Mutebi said earlier.
But neither has Kirabira done much and with the acquisition of Saddam, Abdallah and the rise of Lawrence Bukenya, they will struggle for playing time.

Tom Masiko situation
The club is poised to lose former captain Tom Masiko who has allegedly agreed terms with Vipers.
However, they are well covered in the central midfield areas with Jackson Nunda also returning from injury to join Allan Okello, Julius Poloto and Muzamiru Mutyaba among others.
Paul Mucureezi

Paul Mucureezi is also available although the manager seems to have lost faith in the player in recent months.
The exciting midfielder who can also play as a right wing back has been left out of most games by the gaffer including the Uganda Cup final in Arua.
“He isn’t the same player we had at the start of the season,” Mutebi told Kawowo Sports. “Maybe competition has scared him off but he remains part of us and hoping to have one on one talks with him soon to know what he thinks,” added Mutebi.
Mucureezi’s situation is no different from Brian Majwega’s with the latter linked with a move to either URA or SC Villa although like Mucureezi, he has a full year left on his contract.
Players to be offloaded

Besides Kirabira and Ntege, other players out of Mutebi’s plans are Vincent Kayizzi and Robert Ssentongo who Mutebi accuses of failure to replicate their experience on the pitch.
“When I signed the two alongside Sserunkuma, I demanded them to be examples for the young kids both on and off the pitch but they haven’t,” Mutebi told Kawowo Sports.
Their counterpart (Geoffrey) has exemplified himself and shown he can still play but they have somehow been a disappointment.
Others are Sulaimon Akinyemi and plus Martin Mpuuga, Hakim Ssenkumba who were loaned to Police as well as Yasin Mugume.
