Ahead of their clash against KCCA, Morocco’s FUS Rabat has been boosted by new four players cleared by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The Group A leaders announced on their official website that players Lamine Diakite, Hamza Semmoumy, Saad Ait Khorsa and Zakaria Benlmachi have been given license for the remainder of the CAF Confederation Cup matches.

All the four are part of the Faith Union Sport Rabat squad currently in Kampala ahead of the Sunday, July 2 match at Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

Lamine Diakité, the Ivorian international midfielder joined the club early this week on a three-year contract and will don jersey number 11 with his debut expected at Lugogo.

FUS Rabat hold first training session

Meanwhile, the club held their first official training session at Lugogo on Friday afternoon.

Only 13 of the 15 available players fully trained on the astro-turf as per the CAF rules.

They are expected to conduct their last sessions at the same venue on Saturday and on the same day, will hold a press briefing.

FUS Rabat won the reverse fixture 3-0 in Casablanca and although teams are on 6 points, they sit top of the group due to a superior goal difference.
