Following his side’s annihilation of Morocco’s FUS Rabat to get within a point of quarter finals, KCCA manager Mike Mutebi believes his side has the capacity to pick a result away to Club Africain.

The Kasasiro beat the Moroccan side 3-1 at the StarTimes stadium, Lugogo on Sunday to move to nine points in Group A thanks to goals from Geoffrey Sserunkuma, Ibrahim Saddam Juma and Isaac Muleme.

The Ugandan side now faces Tunisia’s Club Africain in Tunis on Friday aware that a draw will seal their slot in the last eight and Mutebi has belief.

“We have the capacity and the team to go pick a result in Tunis,” said Mutebi. “There is enough in our armory and the opponents now have some respect for us which gives us confidence,” he added.

On Sunday, Mutebi unleashed a midfield trident of Jackson Nunda, Muzamiru Mutyaba and Saddam that didn’t only dominate proceedings but also asked lots of questions thus Mutebi thinks the opponents now have something to think about his side.

They will start to worry about how to stop Saddam, Mutyaba or (Jackson) Nunda when we meet them. For a team that creates chances like ours, we can get a result (in Tunis)

On his side’s emphatic victory, the former Miracle, Maroons and SC Villa tactician says the score line flatters to deceive and says his side should have won by a bigger margin.

I think the score line falters to deceive. We could have won 6-0 depending on the way we played.

KCCA are however yet to pick a point on the road on the continent and have kept just two clean sheets in their continental games.
