Mike Ray Mutebi has made just one change from the 18-man squad that beat FUS Rabat on Sunday for Club Africain duty.

The only change sees defender Habib Kavuma replacing midfielder Vincent Kayizzi who made a substitute appearance in the 3-1 victory at Lugogo.

Kavuma returns to the team after serving a one match ban thanks to a red card at Rivers United in Port Harcourt.

KCCA need a point to reach the quarter finals of the second most lucrative club competition in Africa but Mutebi insists he won’t approach the game with a defensive approach to get a point.

“We are not going to Tunisia to sit back and defend, we are going to play our way. And our way is to attack but remain organised defensively,” he told the press before the team left.

We can’t mortgage our identity. This business of parking the bus is not our way, we have to frustrate them even if they are home because I believe we have their players to match them.

Goalkeeping conundrum

Meanwhile, the Ugandan representatives leave with a goalkeeping puzzle after Charles Lukwago suffered an injury on Tuesday morning training before the team left.

Lukwago started in goal on Sunday ahead of first choice Benjamin Ochan who sat on the bench despite being half fit whilst second choice Douglas Kisembo is a long term injury.

It remains to be seen whether Lukwago, who was rushed to hospital after the challenge in training has also travelled with the whole team.
