Tornado B completed the first round of the Jazz National Safari League unbeaten after defeating Challengers by 5 wickets at Lugogo.

Roger Mukasa (5/32) put in a Man of Match performance with the ball.
In reply, Tornado B was never in trouble despite losing 5 wickets with opener Abdallah Lubega (70) and Deus Muhumuza (58 not out) knocking of the deficit.
The win means Tornado B stay firmly on top of the table and have won all their first round games. They are followed by Damani who have lost a single game.
At Kyambogo, KICC stayed in touch with the leaders by defeating Charity by 121 runs. KICC posted 187 batting first with Raheel Sawar (94) and national team captain Davis Karashani (30) the heaviest contributors. Captain Richard Lwamafa (22) and Amos Kyazze made important knocks with the latter returning bowling figures 3/1 in 3 overs to help ACC pick up important points in the promotion race.
The weekend matches marked the end of the first round with the second round scheduled to start next week.
Tornado B are comfortable at the top of Division 1 but Damani will have something to say about that in the second round.
Premier is on top in Division 2 but will face a lot of challenge from the teams behind them with Strikers, ACC and SKPLS all waiting for them to slip up.
Avengers and Kampala Pirates are firm favorites for promotion from Division 3 but Mwiri, Budo and Nyakasura haven’t been push overs in the first round.
