Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has refuted rumours linking him with a move away from the national team ahead of the Saturday’s second leg of the CHAN 2018 qualifiers against South Sudan.
Micho responded to legislator Allan Ssewanyana’s social media allegation, that revealed he was heading for his final game against Sudan, then pack his bags thereafter for the North African country of Tunisia.
The tactician replied in a tweet, saying he’s “totally focused on UG Cranes” and if it so happened that he was calling time on his career with the Cranes, he would “call farewell press conference.”
I politely request HON.SEWANYANA to not mix me with politics.Iam totally focused on UG Cranes. If I go i will call farewell press conference pic.twitter.com/LSFyKCLib5

Rumours suggesting Micho’s departure have often hovered over the pearl, and the latest add onto the pile that has been accumulated since reaching a milestone of qualification for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations for the first time since 1978 after beating Comoros.
Micho has been reported target of Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa (Bafana Bafana) and African football clubs; Zamalek (Egypt), Orlando Pirates (South Africa), Al Hilal (Sudan) but the Serb has often vehemently denied reports linking him to any.
