
Rwanda volleyball men’s coach Paul Bitok has named the final 12-man squad for the FIVB Zone V World Championships qualifiers that volley off July 21-27 at the Amahoro Indoor Stadium in Kigali.
The team has bee undergoing intensive training in a bid to win the title that will be hosted in front of their fans.
The tournament has attracted five countries with Burundi, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda and hosts Rwanda the confirmed participants.
The top two teams will join Egypt in the continental final qualifying round for the world championships.
The top three teams from Africa will play at the 2018 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championships to be held in Poland.

Setter Helve Kagimbura, center Guillaume Irakarama and Kirehe VC right attacker, Samuel Niyomugabo have all been dropped by Bitok ahead of the tournament.
