
Ugandan youngster Azake Luboyera, 19, has signed for Canadian top flight side, Ottawa Fury Football Club.
Immensely talented midfielder cum forward with quick feet and decision making, Luboyera put pen to paper at the Ontario based outfit.
Paul Dalglish, the head coach at Ottawa Fury is excited about the signing of the gifted young Ugandan as quoted by the official club website;
He (Luboyera) is someone who has a huge amount of potential and we believe in him.
We’re really excited to bring him into our squad.
Even though he’s young, I think he can compete for minutes straight away.
If he can translate the goal scoring ability and creativity that he’s shown in training into the game, then we’ll have a real prospect in our hands.

Luboyera was born and raised in Luweero, Central Uganda.
He started playing soccer for the Hans Production Academy in Uganda at 14 years of age, before being recruited by the Qatar Aspire Football Dreams Academy where he played from 2012 to 2014.
For three seasons in Qatar, Luboyera scored over 80 goals in over 100 games.
In 2015, Luboyera moved to Canada and joined Fury FC’s Senior Academy.
After training with the club during his first season, Luboyera played 10 games in 2016, scoring three goals and adding seven assists.
He was also named to the RDS 3 Stars of the week for the PLSQ in July 2016.
Luboyera also boasts international experience as the 19-year-old played two games for Uganda U-20 team in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifications in 2016, during which he netted two goals.
Ottawa Fury will host Toronto II on July 29th at TD Place, a game Luboyera is expected to play.

Former Uganda’s ambassador in Canada, John Chrysostom Alintuma Nsambu played a significant role to the acclimatization process of the youngster.
Nsambu envisages a bright future for Luboyera and many Ugandan young players;
I am glad for the performance of Luboyera so far.
He is a young skilled and talented player above all disciplined.
His break through will cast a ray of hope for many upcoming young players.
Luboyera is working tooth and nail to break to the senior Uganda National team, the Uganda Cranes having already impressed at the U-20 stage.
