In the aftermath of their 5-1 humiliation by Uganda Cranes, the South Sudan midfielder Robert Wulube admitted that they had an off day at office.
During the post match interview, Wulube who was accompanied by the head coach Felix Bilal Komuyange noted about the inexperience from his side.
Sincerely, Uganda Cranes was the better side throughout the match.
Many times, we were seconds late and slow at decision making.
Uganda has played more international games than us (South Sudan) and it showed.
Wulube was the center of attraction prior to the match because he was lining up against a country that babysitted him.

To him, there was no pressure throughout the match but rather, it was a tall order for them as a unit.
We did not play well especially in defence.
Hopefully, we shall catch up. Even, back at home, we have been disturbed by wars so the league can not go on well like planned. This is a learning experience.
Wulube battled well in the middle of the pack against Muzamiru Mutyaba, captain Benard Muwanga and Moses Waiswa.
Uganda won convincingly 5-1 thanks to Derrick Nsibambi and Paul Mucureezi’s four goals on the day.

South Sudan pulled a goal back through Merriekh center forward Uso Khamis in the 90th minute.
Uganda Cranes will now play Rwanda in the second round of the two legged qualifiers next month.
Uganda shall host the first leg on 12th August 2017 before the return leg on 18th August 2017 in Kigali.
