Following their 24-48 loss to Namibia over the weekend, the Rugby Cranes have slipped one place in the latest World Rugby rankings.

Ranked 36th prior to the game, the Cranes shipped in tries against the African champions and now find themselves 37th.

For the Kenya Simbas, who defeated Zimbabwe 41-22 in Bulawayo, they have gone up one place in the rankings.

Jerome Paarwater’s charges gained 1.05 points to rise to 25th place with 58.22 ranking points, swapping places with Portugal who drop to 26th on 57.26 points.

The Simbas will have a chance to further rise up the rankings when they take on Namibia in Windhoek this Saturday.

Namibia are 21st and are the top ranked side playing in the Africa Gold Cup.
