The July edition of the monthly mug tees off at the Uganda Golf Club in Kampala this weekend.
The day long tourney will be played on a medal on individual merit format.
At the close of business on the day, as per the club’s tradition, excelling players will be awarded with mugs.
“We are delighted to be returning to the Uganda Golf Club, with our Johnnie Walker brand powering July’s edition of the monthly mug. UBL’s commitment to the game of golf in Uganda is undisputed, and we are happy to extend as much as support as we can,” UBL’s Annet Nakiyaga said.
“The Uganda Golf Club members and the captain are delighted by the sponsorship of UBL into this tourney and the opportunities of a long lasting partnership to promote the game of golf,” Joseph Bagabo, the club captain, said.

Some of the golfers expected to take part in the weekend tourney include John Kato, George Egaddu, John Kisembo, Sebbale Kato, Melvin Abby, Martha Babirye and Wei Jei.
Close to 80 golfers shall grace the fair ways and greens.
