As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Uganda Premier League champions KCCA Football Club has extended a helping hand to Mubende Hospital.

In conjunction with their partners, the Kasasiro have offered the health facility 150 bedding blankets.

The club acting club Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Josephine Namukisa and director Aggrey Ashaba graced the media briefing confirming the development.

“We have a responsibility to change lives of fellow Ugandans. The people we are reaching out to, are the fans who support the football club, some of them are future stars of the game,” Ashaba noted.

KCCA is set to play an exhibition game against a select team of Radio Simba staff and fans at Kasenyi playgrounds in Mubende.

The game will be part of a number of activities initiated by Simba’s Ivan Kyeyune that the station has organized to donate beddings and other material items to Mubende Hospital in partnership with KCCA.
