From flying out of Uganda secretly to an unknown destination on Monday night, Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovic has stirred up speculation that he could be heading for the exit after a record 4 years with the national team.

The tactician has followed Orlando Pirates on Twitter, fueling speculation of his move to the South African giants despite announcing earlier that he had had constructive talks with Uganda FA (FUFA).

Micho met with Uganda FA (FUFA) officials who included the president, Moses Magogo, his Vice presidents Justus Mugisha as well as the CEO, Edgar Watson and it was agreed that Watson meets with Micho’s agent, Ivic Stankovic.

According to reports in South Africa, the Serbian-born coach has already agreed a three-year contract with the Buccaneers, and will be announced as Pirates coach after the Carling Cup clash between Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Pirates at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

It is believed Micho could fly to South Africa from his reported location Addis Ababa on the weekend, according to Times Live, to complete the proposed move, with expected returns of over 140 million Uganda shillings monthly.

Micho who could be heading for a second stint with Pirates has been manager of FK Palić, FK Spartak Subotica, Yugoslavia U20, FK Hajduk Kula, Villa SC in Uganda, Saint-George SA in Ethiopia,Young Africans FC in Tanzania, Saint-George SA, Al-Hilal Omdurman in Sudan and the Rwanda national team.
