Lady Cricket Cranes will travel to Nakuru, Kenya for a 3 nation tournament from August 26 to September 1 that will also act as a build up for the team as they prepare for the T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Namibia in early September.

The team is currently preparing for the World Cup Qualifiers due in Namibia from September 6-17 under the watchful eye of head coach Francis Otieno and his assistant Grace Mutyagaba.

The non residential training in Lugogo has attracted over 30 players with the girls in Jinja handled by Jinja SS coach Habib Mugalula.

The training squad will be trimmed this week to a few players who will travel to the rift valley town of Nakuru for the build ups.

The 3 nation tournament will have hosts Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda competing against each other in the shortest version of the game.

The U15 boys have been penciled in on the same trip as UCA builds a team for the next U19 World Cup Qualifiers which is only 2 years away.

Denis has represented Uganda in international cricket events including the World Cup. He is currently the captain of Wanderers Cricket Club.
