Oupa Manyisa has left Orlando Pirates for Mamelodi Sundowns the two clubs have confirmed.

First, the Buccaneers made it official on Thursday August 3, 2017during a press conference at the same function former Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic was named head coach.

Dr. Irvin Khoza the club chairman confirmed Manyisa was leaving.  “Oupa Manyisa will be joining Sundowns. He has an unbelievable record with Pirates.”

Oupa Manyisa leaves to Sundowns as a highly decorated Orlando Pirates player. It is not an easy decision but in the best interest of the player. There are still a few details to finalize.

Moments later, Sundowns also confirmed the player will join them but an official announcement to be made in the due course.

Manyisa has featured for Pirates since 2008 and made over 270 appearances scoring 27 goals.

He is part of the South Africa National Football Team since 2011 where he has earned over 31 caps.

He was part of the team that eliminated URA from the Caf Confederation Cup in 2015.
