Uganda Premier League outfit, Onduparaka Football Club successfully concluded the Kitara Region tour over the weekend.
The Arua based side played two well attended friendly duels in Masindi and Hoim.
On Friday, Masindi Select stretched the Caterpillars as the two sides shared the spoils in a one-all draw at the Masindi stadium.
Ronald Kyamanywa gave the home side the lead in the opening stanza of the game.
New signing Karim Ndugwa beat goalkeeper Mike Muhumuza for the visiting team’s equalizer. Ndugwa also missed a penalty that would have wrapped up the game business in their favour.
In this particular match, Onduparaka head coach, Charles Livingstone Mbabazi was shown marching orders after a touchline bust up with the first assistant referee.
Twenty four hours later, Onduparaka traveled to Hoima for another duel against FUFA Big League club, Kitara F.C at the Boma playground.
The two clubs shared the spoils in a 4 goal thriller played on a slippery ground, following heavy rains.
Mbabazi told Kawowo Sports that these two friendlies gave him the early insight and perfect preparations for the upcoming season.

For these two games, Mbabazi assisted by the technical team optimally utilized the platform to test out all the players especially the club’s new signings.
New arrivals at the club as Allan Busobozi, Aggrey Kirya, goalie Nicholas Ssebwato, Viani Ssekajugo, Rashid Okocha and teenager Ezra Bidda were given a run in.
Onduparaka will continue with the pre-season preparations with more training sessions and friendly matches.
On Friday, Onduparaka will play Tanzanian side Azam Football Club at the Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
