Vipers Sports Club recovered from a goal down to defeat Hima 3-1 during a pre-season friendly match at the Hima Cement playground in Kasese.
The home side scored first 23 minutes into the game via a penalty kick when left back, Yayo Lutimba handled the ball in the forbidden area.
Lutimba quickly shaded off the earlier misfortune when he crossed for striker Tonny Odur who headed home the equalizer.

New signing Mousa Mbayi and Ashraf Mandela were target to give Miguel Da Costa’s a the comfortable lead and win at the final whistle.

The friendly in Kasese followed a visit by the Kitende based club to the sponsors’ headquarters.
The Venoms also conducted charity work through their Corporate Social Responsibility cause. The club donated jerseys, balls and nets to the local communities in Kasese.

This was yet another build up for Vipers ahead of the start of the 2017-18 season in September.
Vipers had days earlier played to a one-all draw with Mbarara City at the Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara.
Last week, the Venoms edged Super Cubs 2-0 at the St Mary’s play ground in Kisubi.
