Uganda Cranes has defeated KCCA FC 3-0 in a training match played at the Lugogo stadium on Wednesday evening.

Erisa Ssekisambu gave the national team the lead by the half time break in the match also watched by FUFA boss Moses Magogo.

Second half substitutes Nelson Senkatuka and Martin Kizza wrapped the business in the second half.

It would have been a cricket score for the national team had they been clinical on the evening.

Referee Ali Kaddu denied clear penalty when goalkeeper Jamal Maliyamungu tripped down Kizza with the goal at his mercy.

Senkatuka, Moses Waiswa and Paul Mucureezi missed the target from different chances created.

KCCA’s golden opportunity to pull back a goal fell to Lincon Mukisa who failed to connect a great cross off the left flank by Mustapha Kiiza.

The interim coaches Moses Basena and Fred Kajoba rested a number of players for the game.

Goalkeeper Ismail Watenga, Nico Wadada, Milton Karisa and Muzamiru Mutyaba did not play any minutes.

This was the last build for the national team ahead of the final training session on Thursday morning before departure for Rwanda in the afternoon.
