KHC's vice captain Dulf Musoke

Table leaders Kampala Hockey Club Stallions will look to return to winning ways when they take on lackluster Simba in the National Hockey League on Sunday.

The Stallions saw their perfect run stopped last weekend following their 3-3 draw with Weatherhead. The side had not lost points since the season kicked off in June, but that entertaining draw meant a halt in their flawless run.

With Simba, who they hammered 4-0 in the first round, and who dreadfully lost to both Weatherhead and Wananchi presenting opposition, Bernard Bwire will be confident his side will ease past the side.

KHC need maximum points to maintain their top position in the league, with Weatherhead who play a day earlier likely to win their encounter against bottom side Rockets.

The Stallions lead the table standing with 15 points and are closely followed by Vincent Kasasa’ charges who trail them by two points.

Simba have won only one game since the season started and that win came against Rockets on the opening weekend of the league.

They occupy the second last position in the league and are not expected to pose any kind of threat to the league leaders.
