The ladies national team won their first buildup game against a Kenya Select by 6 wickets at the Sir. Ali stadium.

The ladies are using the series as a tune up for the T20 World Cup qualifiers in Namibia next month.

Saidat Kemigisha (43) was top scorer for Uganda as they chased down a modest 87 for the loss of 4 wickets.

In Nakuru, the U15 boys also defeated a Kenyan XI by 3 wickets

In a rain affected game Uganda wrapped up the young simba boys for only 67 with Juma Miyagi (3/5) a class act with the ball.

Ochaya Jaffer (14) and Pius Oloka (14 not out) knocked off the deficit to help Uganda to a not so easy win.

Tomorrow both teams are in action again in Nairobi and Nakuru.
