Crystal Palace star Jeffrey Schlupp has been called up to the Ghana Black Stars ahead of their upcoming World Cup qualifying double header against Congo.

The star who signed from former League Champions Leicester City for an initial £9m on a four-and-a-half-year contract is set to join the team after inclusion by coach Kwesi Appiah.
Schlupp, who has won 15 international caps will travel with squad to Brazzaville for the return leg on September 5 after the first leg on four days earlier at Baba Yara Stadium.
Ghana is in the group E with Uganda and the later are second with four points in two matches. The stars are third, and need victory after losing one and drawing the second.
Uganda hosts leaders Egypt in Kampala on 31st August before traveling to Alexandria on 5th September for the return leg.
