As a player, he lifted up the moods for many fans in the terraces.

Quick, intelligent and exciting on and off the ball, Paul Mukatabala was blessed with an armor of trickery and ingredients to bring a smile to a fan on a lifesaving machine.

No doubt, he remains a legend at Sports Club Villa Jogoo.

Now a retired Ex-international, one of the two delegates representing the players in the FUFA Assembly and a CAF ‘B’ licenced coach, Mukatabala is set for a return to club he proudly calls home.

Mukatabala is among the tacticians being vetted for the vacant assistant coaching role at the club.

“It will be a pleasure to return to Sports Club Villa. Lets wait and see,” the soft spoken coach who also played at Victors before turning pro in the middle East tells Kawowo Sports.

The club executive is finalizing on his personal terms and conditions set before the big announcement is made.

SC Villa is preparing for three games in the pre-season. One game will be played against Mbale Heroes at the barren Mbale Municipal Stadium on Saturday.

Two matches shall be played at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali against reigning champions Rayon Sports and APR on the 2nd and 5th September 2017 respectively.
