Irfan Afridi dazzled his country men with a devastating bowling spell of 4/9 as the Uganda Select B side defeated Pakistan XI by 4 wickets.
The Brian Masaba led side bounced back from yesterday’s loss to the Indian Select side by defeating the Pakistan’s to remain in contention for the final.
The Pakistan’s have lost to both Ugandan sides and have a small outside chance of making the final. They won the toss and batted first but they scored a paltry 126 all out.
Despite losing 6 wickets Irfan Afridi (21 not out) and Ziraba Arthur (25) made sure of the win for Team Uganda.
The tri-series reward every Man of Match with 50,000 and there was only one candidate in this game.
