Dickens Okello and Malik Ahmed both scored as Simba registered their second victory of the campaign in the National Hockey League.
Okello notched the first goal in 34th minute to send his side into recess with the lead, and Malik found the second in the 55th minute.
Daniel Lubega halved the deficit in the 61st minute to ensure a nervous ending for Ali Mohammad and his boys, but Simba held on to their lead and eventually took all the three points.
Simba had not won or drawn a game since their 5-0 thumping of the same opponent on the opening weekend of the season. They had been enduring defeats just like Rockets.
Rockets remain the only team in the Men’s category yet to secure victory. The side has lost all their games, and they remain seated bottom of the table with no point.
Simba are second last with six points.
