The Egyptian delegation to Uganda for the do-or-die 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier shall arrive on Tuesday night.
According to the official programme released by FUFA for the match day programme, the Egyptian delegation will arrive in the country tonight at 9 p.m.
“Security at Entebbe Airport has been beefed up on request of the Egyptian embassy in Uganda,” a FUFA official who declined to be named because he is not the official spokesman stated.
The Egyptian delegation will be accommodated at Sheraton Kampala where their advance party booked over three months ago.
The Pharaohs take on the Cranes in Kampala on Thursday, August 31, before the teams head to Alexandria to face-off again on Tuesday, September 5.
The matches will go a long way in determining the fate of the group that Egypt currently leads with six points, followed by Uganda with four points, Ghana with one point, and Congo with zero points.
The match will be officiated by referees from Mauritania.
