Roger Mukasa and Charles Waiswa were again selected in the to play for the NPCA XI as they took on the ACA XI in the second four-day game in the Sir. Vizzy Trophy.
NPCA XI won the toss and elected to bat scoring 153 all out on day one. Roger Mukasa didn’t get going again falling for a 2 ball duck while his compatriot Charles Waiswa managed 16 not out.
The ACA XI closed on 20/0 on day one and on resumption on Day 2 they were 279/2 with a lead of 126 runs before rain stopped play.
In the scintillating 42 degree heat, Charles Waiswa said the quality of cricket on display is superior to what they are used to but the experience is invaluable.
