Keshwala Boys stormed the final of the Night Cricket Rainbow Cup after defeating favorites Cosmos Warriors.
Cosmos came into the first qualifier as favorites having gone through the group stages unbeaten but a determined Keshwala Boys couldn’t let them have their way as they defeated them by 7 wickets.
Keshwala Boys won the toss and chose to field first restricting Cosmos to 130 all out in their 20 overs.
In Ronak Patel, Keshwala Boys have an intelligent and smart player. He dropped anchor at 20/2 and from there on they didn’t look back chasing the 130 inside 15 overs.
The winner qualifies directly for the final with the loser getting another shot at the final in the second qualifier.
The result means Keshwala Boys go into the final while Cosmos will wait for the winner of the second qualifier.
Afridi XI takes on Haandi XI in the second qualifier and the winner of that match will play Cosmos Warriors.
