KCCA manager Mike Hilary Mutebi has clarified that striker Muhammad Shaban hasn’t completed a move to Lugogo.
Shaban has been a linked with a move away from Onduparaka since the transfer window opened and even went on his Facebook Timeline to hint on a move.
Very close sources to both the player and KCCA on Friday confirmed to Kawowo Sports that all has been agreed amongst all parties to okay the move.
“Shaban isn’t our player yet so he won’t feature for us tomorrow (Tuesday),” revealed Mutebi when asked about the player. “He is still Onduparaka player for now,” he added.
We would welcome him though and he can add quality to our team but he isn’t in our plans now. Let’s wait and see how things go.
KCCA have struggled in front of goal so far in the campaign scoring once in two games and that tells why they badly need Shaban who netted over 13 league goals last season.
The primary registration window for players in Uganda closes on Thursday, September 21.
