After a brief training stint with the reigning league champions KCCA Football Club, Solomon Walusimbi has returned to Maroons F.C.
The creative midfielder’s return to Maroons was confirmed to Kawowo Sports by his representative, Collina Gazzaman.
Yes, he is back to Maroons Football Club. Walusimbi is no question a big talent but he still needs as much playing time as possible to be in a good position to handle the demands and expectations of a big club as KCCA F.C.
Walusimbi was one of the best players in the 2016-17 FUFA Big League.
He had reportedly agreed terms with KCCA shortly after the end of the season in May and trained with the double winners for more than six weeks featuring in some preseason games before suffering a hamstring while in Mubende.
The calm albeit vastly talented player has already expressed the willingness and desire to lead the club he shouldered to promotion.

The departure of talisman Patrick Kaddu to KCCA will once again automatically hand the play making tasks to Walusimbi alongside Pius Obuya.
He has resumed business at Maroons and was part of the Friday morning friendly match where the Prisons side overcame a select side from Makindye 2-0.
